January felt like it flew by! Two fun things happened in January though, my birthday and my son’s, so we’ve had some fun celebrating. The only thing I do not like about January and February is it feels like winter just drags its feet, especially in Washington. So, to make winter less dreary, I wanted to make a fun little wallpaper to make it a little bit more of a cheery month! Warning: this may make you crave donuts everyday for the whole month of February. Even if it does, donuts make me happy, and hopefully this wallpaper will make you happy too!
If you have a child that’s always wanting to buy something new, or wanting to make some money, this Printable Job Chart is one of the best ways to help your child keep track of the jobs they need to do in order to earn some money.
This past Christmas, my son had the opportunity to buy gifts for members of our family at school. My husband and I both agreed that if he wanted to buy gifts for everyone, he needed to learn the value of earning money and what it was like to spend his own money. He was totally for it, and we all agreed on what jobs he could do around the house and how much each would be worth. In order for him to keep track of what job he was doing and how much he was earning, I came up with this Job chart.
He loved it! Whenever he completed a chore, he marked it off in the box and would look at his chart to see what he could do next. During the week he would add up the boxes and see how much he had made so far and if he needed to make more money by doing more chores. At the end of the week he counted all his boxes and how much he made, and put it in the box under the date. It was great for me because I didn’t have to make sure I had money on the spot after he completed a chore, or make sure I always had quarters or dollar bills. Once the end of the week was completed, I’d go out and get him the money he earned.
What’s great about this printable, is you can actually edit the chores each week on the file before you print it off. In order to keep the same look as the chart above, download the font Moon Flower Bold. You can also use this Job Chart as a way for your kids to earn screen/game time. This is a great way to help your kids get started and learn the value of earning money.
Happy New Year! My family and I have our highs and lows for 2017, but for the most part 2017 was a great year for us and we are looking forward to what 2018 has in store. I’m a day behind, but I’m happy to say that I’ve got the January Wallpaper + Printable ready for you to add to your desktop, smartphone or in your home or office.
I love floral wallpaper, and I love how it turned out on the 2018 Printable Calendar, so I thought it would be perfect to add it to this month’s design. I have had many thoughts and ideas of what I’d like my New Years resolutions to be, one thing I know is I want this year to be better than the last, and hope that it continues that way each year! Hopefully you feel the same way, and this month’s quote motivates you to do the same.
I also have to add how grateful I am for all of my readers who continually come back each month for the monthly wallpapers and printables, and for all your support with this blog. Wishing you all a wonderful New Year!
It’s time to decorate your home for the Holidays, but don’t forget your desktop or smartphones! Decorate your home or office space with these wallpapers for the most wonderful time of year! When it comes to printing, I always like to give the option for the colored background or white background in case you like to save on ink (like me). I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday Season!
I’m very excited that Thanksgiving is just a couple of weeks away, and while normally I’m not a huge leftover fan, the Thanksgiving leftovers are an exception. My favorite sides from the whole meal are most definitely the stuffing and rolls. I am usually the first one to the fridge to start eating those two the next day, but luckily with these Leftover Thanksgiving tags I won’t have to worry about anyone in my family eating my favorite sides! I’m sharing these Thanksgiving Printables over at Eighteen25.
If you have a big family over for Thanksgiving, these labels and containers will be helpful at sorting out all the leftovers at the end of the night. You can use any type of brown kraft box or even an ice cream container to put your leftovers in and tape on these Thanksgiving Tags with Washi tape, or print them on Avery Sticker labels before the big meal. To make it easier for families taking home multiple containers, grab a basic kraft bag and place the Leftover Printable on the outside of the bag and label which family it belongs to. Grab your printables now to make the end of the night a little bit easier!
I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! My kids got tons and tons of candy from the weekend and last night’s trick or treating, and looks like we’ll have enough to last us until next Halloween. Now I am ready for a new holiday!
I’m so excited to share November’s wallpaper and printable! I have been inspired by all the leaves falling around our town and everywhere we go. We have lived in Washington for 2 years now and this time of year is beautiful. We live in a small town, but it takes about 25 minutes to get to Tacoma or Olympia and we have to drive through “forest-y” roads to get there and I love seeing all the colors on the trees as we drive by. I hope you are all enjoying the pretty Fall changes and some color temps!
I know we’re still technically in the Summer season when we hit September, but in all fairness Fall does begin later in the month, and I am ready for some Fall. I am not a hot weather person, although I’m not a cold weather person either, but if I had to choose I would definitely prefer the Fall season over any other time of the year. 🙂
Since Fall is on my mind, I was inspired by it for this month’s wallpaper and printable! I took one of my favorite designs from the 2018 Printable Calendar, and changed up the colors to represent Fall, and I love it! Anyone else ready for some cooler temps?
I’ve been married for 8 years, and I still do not have an effective way to keep track of my bills. Granted, a lot of our bills are on auto pay but sometimes I cannot remember for the life of me how much exactly comes out. This totally drives me crazy and I’ve been wanting to make one of these for a while, and I thought it was finally time! So here is something to help you keep track of your own bills at home!
These are perfect to keep on your office wall, fridge, binder, or anywhere that will help remind you when an upcoming bill is due. I’ve created a yearly checklist as well as a monthly checklist or for those payments that are not a reoccurring monthly bill. I hope these help keep you stay organized and prepared for those routine payments!
Since it’s the last official month of Summer, I had to throw in some popsicles for this month’s wallpaper. I cannot believe that we are already into the month of August and slowly starting to get ready for school to begin. Luckily for my kids, school doesn’t start until the day after Labor Day so we have 1 full month of summer left to play.
As hard as it is sometimes to have all 3 kids home with me, I have also enjoyed having the chance to play with all 3 kiddos and do fun things with all of them! We have gotten almost all of our Summer Bingo activities done already and have gotten at least 3 bingos! If you haven’t seen the Summer Activity Bingo Printable yet, check it out here!
Hope you’re all enjoying your summer! Now grab your colorful and fun wallpaper for the month!
I’m a few days behind with my monthly calendar, but I’ve finally got it ready! We’re going to Hawaii in about a week and I’ve got Island fever on my mind, hence the theme for this month’s calendar. Save this wallpaper on your desktop, smart phone or print it out on an 8.5×11 piece of paper to hang in your home or office.
A reader requested that if there could be the option of both a calendar & a quote to choose from, so the quote I’m going with today is simple and short, but in many ways powerful. I hope this helps remind you during those times you need it most to stand tall!
