I was at Target the other day (dangerous, I know!) and stumbled across the cutest Halloween containers , you know the kind that practically beg to be filled with something sweet? I instantly knew I needed to whip up a festive fall treat to match their cuteness.

And since it’s officially pumpkin spice season, what better excuse to grab the Betty Crocker Pumpkin Spice Cookie Mix? It’s quick, easy, and absolutely delicious. But of course, I had to take it up a notch. Cue the candy melts and Halloween sprinkles, because we’re all about those spooky vibes!

These treats turned out adorably cute and added a fun twist to a simple cookie. Want to make your own? Here’s how:

Materials:

How to make them:

  1. Bake the cookies according to the package directions (usually 375°F for 10–12 minutes).
  2. While the cookies are cooling, melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each round until smooth.
  3. Once the cookies are completely cooled, dip half of each cookie into the melted candy.
  4. Immediately dip the candy-coated part into a bowl of Halloween sprinkles.
  5. Place the cookies on a parchment-lined tray to set. You can pop them in the fridge to speed it up!
  6. Once set, place them in your festive containers, tie with ribbon, and don’t forget to add a cute gift tag.

These cookies are the perfect combo of fall flavor and Halloween fun. Ideal for gifting, parties, or a sweet surprise for a friend.

If you try them, tag me. I’d love to see your spooky cookie creations!

Ready Confetti Printable

The first day of school is always a whirlwind of emotions, especially for kids. Whether it’s excitement to see friends again, nerves about a new teacher, or curiosity about what the school year will bring, my kids always seem to feel all the feelings at once. With one in middle school and one starting high school now (how did that happen so fast?!), I’ve seen just how much this time of year can stir up.

For younger kids, the nerves can be even bigger. That’s why I’ve always appreciated the little touches teachers add to make their students feel welcome on day one. One of the most thoughtful things I’ve seen is the “Ready Confetti” idea. It’s such a sweet, simple way to help ease those night-before-school jitters. I loved it so much, I decided to make two versions: one from the teacher and one from the parent.

What You’ll Need:

How to Assemble:

  1. Fill your small treat bag with confetti and seal it.
  2. Punch a hole through the top of the bag and the printable.
  3. Thread ribbon through both and tie a cute bow to secure them together.

That’s it! So easy, and so fun.

How to Use:

On the night before school, your child can sprinkle the confetti on or around their bed, or simply place the bag under their pillow to keep the magic (and mess) contained. It’s a whimsical little ritual that helps turn nervous energy into excitement.

Wishing you and your family a smooth, happy, and confident start to the school year!

This year, I’m making Cupcakes in a Jar, a fun and easy DIY dessert that looks as good as it tastes. Not only are they delicious, but they’re also portable, giftable, and absolutely adorable with a little ribbon and custom tag. These are especially perfect if you’re gifting to multiple dads or delivering something sweet from afar.

What You’ll Need

How to Make Cupcakes in a Jar

1. Bake Your Cupcakes:
Prepare the cupcake mix according to the box instructions. Bake and let them cool completely. (Tip: Don’t overfill the tins so your cupcakes stack nicely.)

2. Make the Frosting:
Whip up your buttercream frosting and fill a piping bag with a decorative tip.

3. Layer in the Jar:
Unwrap a cupcake and place it in the bottom of the jar. Pipe a generous swirl of frosting on top. Repeat with a second cupcake and another layer of frosting.

4. Seal It Up:
Once the jar is filled, close the lid tightly to keep everything fresh and intact.

Finishing Touches:

5. Print & Cut Your Gift Tags:
Download and print these adorable Father’s Day tags. Cut them out neatly.

6. (Optional) Make Them Stickers:
If you have a Xyron Sticker Maker, you can turn the tags into stickers—just run them through the machine and peel off the backing. Easy, cute, and mess-free!

7. Add Ribbon & Tags:
Tie a ribbon around the jar for an extra festive touch. If you didn’t use the sticker option, simply punch a hole in the tag and thread it through the ribbon.

You’ve just created a sweet and thoughtful Father’s Day gift that looks like it came straight out of a bakery window. Whether you’re delivering them in person or dropping them off with a card, these cupcakes in a jar are sure to be a hit.

So grab your apron, get a little frosting on your fingers, and have fun celebrating the incredible dads in your life.

DIY Clay Bead Bracelet: A Perfect Craft for Kids

This post contains affiliated links.

Our daughter, Riley, loves to craft and is looking for ways to stay busy, especially at her brother’s baseball games. A couple years ago, she met another girl on one of the teams who would make things and sell them to people during games. This inspired Riley and she wanted to do the same! We thought bracelets would be perfect for her since it’s easy to put together and would keep her entertained at home and at the games.

One day while I was scrolling through Amazon, I saw these Clay Bead Spinners and thought this would be perfect for her if it really worked… I was definitely skeptical at first but decided to buy it. When we got it, we were amazed at how well it worked! We were able to complete a bracelet in 5 minutes if we kept the machine on without making any changes to the bracelet. Our boys were even fascinated by it and made a couple themselves! Here are a couple tips when using it.

1) The machine randomly throws on beads on the needle, so if you’re going for a colored pattern bracelet, you probably won’t want to use this. If you’re a go with the flow type of person, this is perfect for you! You’ll want to choose colors that go well together! In the end, it still creates something very cute and colorful.

2) Add more clay beads in the dish! This will help the clay beads fall onto the needle and make the process of making a bracelet go a little bit faster.

3) Finding the right speed and rotation of the spinner can make all the difference. You can adjust the speed of the spinner, along with having it rotate clock-wise or counter clock-wise.

Here are the materials you’ll need:

It’s a tool that is great to use when you’re having a movie/craft night and perfect for littles who love creating something for friends and family! If you or your kids love giving bracelets as gifts, take a look at this post on Boutique-Style Packaging Ideas + Printable.

Christmas Hand Soap Printable Gift Tag

Soap can be a perfect gift for friends, neighbors and teachers! Add these Christmas Hand Soap printable gift tags to make it extra special!

If you know me, you know that I have a crazy obsession with Bath & Body Works! If you shop their sales, you always feel like you’ve shopped your way into a good deal. With the holidays quickly approaching, one of my favorite gifts to give is their Bath & Body Works soaps. Whenever there’s a deal on their soaps (which happens at least twice a month), I always try to snag a few more knowing that I’ll be gifting them down the road.

While their soaps already have cute designs that go with the seasons, I wanted to create a gift tag to tie around to give it a little extra “pizazz.” Print on cardstock, tie with a cute ribbon and you’ve created a thoughtful little gift!

It may only be August, but I’m excited and ready for Halloween! Part of the reason may be because we live in Texas and am ready for the cooler temps, but I love this time of year. I love all the decorations, the get togethers, and all the food.

Chocolate is my biggest weakness and I struggle to say no to it. This is probably a big part of why I love this time of year so much. All of the sweets and did I mention the delicious food?

We’ve already started thinking about what costumes our kids are going to wear for Halloween, and at the moment they’re saying they’re sticking to what they’ve picked out this year. I highly doubt our 6 year old has completely made up her mind, but she has a couple more months to decide! We’re in no rush, but it’s fun to plan already.

I’m sharing these cute gift tags to attach to treat bags for school parties, party favors or to hand out for trick or treat-ers on Halloween! There are 3 different options to choose from! If you love all 3, print them all out. if there is one or two that match better with your party theme, there’s that option as well.

I’m using these Kraft Paper Treat Bags to fill small treats in and a small clothes pin to secure the tag to it. You could easily turn these gift tags into stickers or hole punch them through the tags and attach them to bags with ribbon.

Here’s what you’ll need to make these gift tags!
